Villa country
Belek belongs to Antalya’s Serik district and is known for its pine forests, golf courses and the hotels along its beach. Behind the hotels, and west towards Kadriye, there are villa complexes, detached villas with private pools and holiday homes. Some are lived in all year by Turkish and foreign families; many are let by the week in summer. If you are looking for made-to-measure curtains in Belek, chances are you are furnishing one of these.
A villa brings far more window types than a flat: floor-to-ceiling sliding doors onto the garden or pool, double-height glass above the living room, stairwell windows nobody can reach, sloping roof windows upstairs and small, shady windows on the ground floor.
What villa windows have to cope with
- Pool glare – light bounces off the water as well as coming from the sky, straight into eyes and onto TV screens in the afternoon.
- Different floors, different needs – the ground floor is often shaded by pines and planting, while upstairs bedrooms catch the full morning sun.
- Pollen and garden moisture – irrigated gardens and pine trees leave a fine film on window sills, especially in spring; washable sheers and wipe-clean surfaces help.
- Empty weeks – when the owner is away, something that blocks most of the light protects the furniture from fading.
Belek and around
- Belek centre – between the hotels and villa estates, with some apartments and shops around the market area.
- Kadriye – west of Belek, hotels plus villa complexes and summer homes; sliding doors and double-height glass are our most common topics here.
- Boğazkent – a quieter coast to the east near the mouth of the Köprüçay river, mainly detached houses and summer homes.
- Taşağıl, Karadayı and Çandır – inland, where village life meets new villa projects.
What we suggest, room by room
- Living room onto the garden: a double curtain system carries sheers and drapes in separate channels; or choose vertical blinds that stack to the side and keep the doorway free.
- Double-height glass: motorised curtains operated by remote or wall switch. We agree the power point and fixing surface at the visit.
- Study or library: wooden blinds with 50 mm slats suit the natural materials of a villa. In bathrooms we use aluminium instead.
- Bedrooms: blackout roller blinds for upstairs rooms that get the morning sun, softened with a sheer.
All our villa options are gathered under curtains for villas.
Golf hotels in Belek
Our references here are Titanic Golf Belek and Cullinan Belek, where we installed venetian, pleated and roller blinds. The lesson from hotels – blinds must keep working however carelessly they are used – applies just as much to a holiday-let villa. More on our hotel solutions.
Prices
Price depends on product, size, fabric and mechanism; in a villa, the number of windows and whether you choose motors make the biggest difference. Averages: wooden blinds about 3,000 TL/m², aluminium blinds about 2,000 TL/m², pleated blinds 1,000–4,000 TL/m². Motorised systems, curtains and sheers are quoted after measuring. See our prices page.
How we serve Belek
Our showroom is in Bahçeyaka, Döşemealtı, and Belek is one of the furthest areas we cover. So visits are always booked by appointment, and we try to measure the whole villa in one trip. Send photos of every room’s windows and sliding doors on WhatsApp (+90 506 668 41 04) first; we will make suggestions and then book a free visit with sample books. If you live abroad, we share options by photo and video and you approve remotely. For Serik town and its villages see our Serik page; for villas on the other side of Antalya see Kemer.
