Complexes along the whole coast
Most of our work in Alanya starts in a residential complex with a pool. From the old centre below the castle, blocks of ten floors and more, flats with glazed balconies and rooftop duplexes stretch along the shore in both directions. Some are lived in all year, others open only for holidays or are let to guests, and many owners live outside Türkiye – so a job often begins with a WhatsApp message and a few window photos. Up the slopes of Kargıcak, Türkler and Payallar there are detached villas with big terraces and floor-to-ceiling glass.
Sun, humidity and glazed balconies
Most sea-view flats face south, and nearly every balcony has been glazed in. In summer that glass heats up fast and the warmth spreads into the living room. Sea air brings humidity and salt, and blinds left closed in an empty flat fade in strong sun. So we look for three things: control the glare without hiding the view, clean easily in damp air, and keep working while nobody is home.
Neighbourhood by neighbourhood
- Mahmutlar: tall, closely spaced blocks. Lower floors need privacy from the block opposite, upper floors need midday sun control. Zebra or screen blinds in the living room and blackout in the bedroom is a common combination; for holiday lets we keep to simple chain controls.
- Kestel and Tosmur: lower buildings with gardens and pools. Trees along the Dim river shade some façades in Tosmur, so one room may need a screen blind and the next a sheer that lets light in.
- Oba and Cikcilli: more year-round family flats; many people want sheers and curtains together in the living room. Cikcilli climbs the hill, so upper flats get wide views and direct sun – venetian blinds handle that well.
- Konaklı, Payallar and Avsallar: quieter complexes west of the centre with wide balconies that catch the morning sun. Bedroom blackout and pleated blinds on the balcony are the usual pair.
What we fit most in Alanya
For folding balcony glass, pleated blinds are measured per pane; the top-down/bottom-up version hides the lower half from neighbours while daylight still comes in. See all options on our balcony blinds page. On fixed glazing, screen roller blinds take the edge off sun and heat and leave the sea in view. Bedrooms get blackout blinds for a proper afternoon siesta. In kitchens and bathrooms, aluminium blinds with 16 mm slats wipe clean despite the humidity, while villas often prefer 50 mm wooden slats for a warmer look.
Prices in Alanya
Price depends on product, size, fabric and mechanism. Verified averages: pleated blinds 1,000–4,000 TL/m², aluminium blinds about 2,000 TL/m², wooden blinds about 3,000 TL/m². Screen, blackout, zebra and motorised systems are quoted at the free visit. Details are on our prices page. Alanya is our furthest area, so we don’t promise city-centre terms; any travel arrangement is discussed openly when you book. Credit-card instalments are available.
Ordering from your home country
Our showroom is in Bahçeyaka, Döşemealtı, past Manavgat and a long drive away, so every Alanya trip is planned. Send photos or a short video of your windows on WhatsApp first; we pick the sample books and fix a day with several Alanya appointments. If you are abroad, your site manager can open the door – we film each window, send fabric options and wait for your approval. After our own team has fitted everything, you get photos of each room before your next trip. Problems with existing blinds? We also do blind repair. Book your free home visit, and if you live further west, see our Manavgat page.
