What healthcare spaces need from a blind
In a clinic, window coverings are first a question of hygiene and privacy, and only then of decoration. Heavy, pleated, dust-catching fabrics are not ideal here. Instead we recommend systems with smooth surfaces that can be wiped with a damp cloth and renewed piece by piece when needed.
Room-by-room suggestions
- Consulting and treatment rooms: aluminium venetian blinds – tilt the slats to let light in while keeping the room private.
- Patient rooms: blackout roller blinds that dim the room for daytime rest.
- Waiting areas and corridors: vertical blinds or screen roller blinds to cut sun on wide glazing and keep a tidy look.
- Dental and private practices: plain roller blinds or slim-slat venetians to control light around screens and treatment lamps.
Easy cleaning and maintenance
With vertical blinds, a dirty or damaged slat can be swapped without taking the whole blind down. Aluminium blinds fit easily into a disinfection routine, since the slats simply wipe clean. For roller blinds we choose plain fabrics and simple chain controls to avoid corners where dirt collects. See also our guide on how to clean blinds.
Planned installation
At the survey we note how each room is used, the window sizes and what your cleaning team needs. Installation is then planned in stages around your working hours. For average product prices, see curtain and blind prices.
