The right light for work
In an office, blinds are not only about blocking the sun but about light that is easy on the eyes all day. With aluminium and vertical systems you adjust the slats to keep the space bright while stopping screen glare.
Beating screen glare
The most tiring thing at a desk is having to choose between sun on the screen and a dark room. Slatted blinds solve that: tilt the slats slightly upwards and daylight bounces off the ceiling, no direct sun lands on the monitor and the room stays bright. How well this works depends on where the desks sit in relation to the windows, so at the visit we look at your layout, not just the glass. On south- and west-facing offices the setting changes several times a day, which we take into account when choosing the controls.
Which system for which space?
- Open-plan desks: aluminium venetian blinds for fine light control; the 16 mm slats fit shallow frames.
- Floor-to-ceiling facades: side-stacking vertical blinds with individually replaceable slats.
- Executive offices and client rooms: wooden blinds for a warmer, more upmarket look.
- West-facing workspaces: screen roller blinds that cut glare while keeping the view.
Meeting rooms
For presentation rooms we recommend systems that darken the room fully when closed, and we also offer privacy solutions for glass-walled meeting rooms. Training rooms that rely on a projector are covered in more detail on our page on blackout for conference rooms.
One look on every floor
From the street, a building should read as one. We measure every floor and draw up a list that uses the same product, colour and control side throughout. Offices with a ground-floor shop window may also find our page on blinds for shops and showrooms useful.
Corporate colours and written quotes
The aluminium colour card is wide, so a shade close to your brand colour is usually possible; if you want printing or a logo, ask at the visit and we will tell you whether it can be done. After the survey you receive an itemised written quote per room and floor, which makes internal approval easier.
Installation without disruption
We plan around your busiest hours and can work room by room or floor by floor. Windows where desks or equipment need moving are flagged in advance, so there are no surprises on the day. Mechanisms carry a 2-year warranty.
