The real problem for Antalya restaurants: the sun
On the coast, west-facing glass turns tables into hotspots by mid-afternoon, and the glare can be so strong that guests squint at their plates. Heavy curtains solve the heat but kill the view and the street atmosphere. That is why for hospitality venues we usually recommend screen roller blinds: the open weave lets you see out while noticeably reducing heat and glare.
Setting the mood
- Zebra blinds: shift the sheer and solid bands for soft daytime light, close them fully for evening service.
- Wooden blinds: add warmth to bistros, grills and wine bars.
- Sheer curtains: a light layer that softens the windows of a boutique café.
- Motorised systems: on long glass frontages every blind comes down together at the press of a button.
Easy to clean, built to last
In a restaurant, blinds are brushed by hands, chairs and service trolleys every day. We favour stain-resistant, wipeable surfaces. Near the kitchen we often suggest aluminium venetian blinds instead of fabric, because steam and grease do not affect them and a damp cloth is enough. Our guide on how to clean blinds covers routine care.
How we plan it
At the survey we look at your table layout, where the sun falls at which time of day and the overall style of the venue. Installation is scheduled outside service hours, and average rates are listed on our curtain and blind prices page.
